Trip Overview

The Tsum Valley Trek is a beautiful and peaceful trekking journey in the remote northern part of the Manaslu region. Tsum Valley is known for its traditional Tibetan culture, ancient monasteries, friendly local people, beautiful mountain views, and quiet trails.

The valley is surrounded by impressive Himalayan peaks and offers a different experience from the more crowded trekking routes of Nepal. The trail passes through forests, rivers, suspension bridges, stone houses, traditional villages, and Buddhist monasteries.

One of the special things about the Tsum Valley Trek is its rich Buddhist culture. Villages such as Chumling, Chhokangparo, Nile, and Mu Gompa have strong Tibetan influences. Trekkers can see prayer wheels, mani walls, chortens, monasteries, and colorful prayer flags along the route.

The trek begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu toward Machha Khola. From there, the walking trail follows the Budhi Gandaki Valley before entering the Tsum Valley. The journey gradually reaches higher elevations and provides views of Ganesh Himal, Sringi Himal, Himalchuli, and other Himalayan peaks.

Universe Himalayan Treks organizes the trek with experienced guides, necessary permits, accommodation, transportation, meals, and trekking support.
