Trip Overview

The Explore Manaslu Circuit Trek is an adventurous journey through Nepal's remote, beautiful Manaslu region. The trek takes you around Mount Manaslu (8,163 m), the world's eighth-highest mountain. It introduces you to traditional mountain villages, Buddhist monasteries, high Himalayan valleys, beautiful lakes, and dramatic mountain landscapes.

The journey begins with a private Jeep drive from Kathmandu to Jagat. From Jagat, the trail gradually moves deeper into the Manaslu region through Dang, Serang Gomba, Prok, Lho Gaun, Samagaun, and Samdo. Along the way, you will experience changing landscapes, local mountain culture, and spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.

This itinerary also includes several side trips and acclimatization activities. You will explore Kal Tal (Death Lake), visit Pungen Gomba, hike toward Manaslu Base Camp, and take a day trip toward Rui La near the Nepal-Tibet border.

The main challenge is crossing Larke Pass at approximately 5,106 meters. After crossing the pass, the trail descends toward Bhimtang and Dharapani before returning to Kathmandu by private Jeep.

This 18-day itinerary includes trekking permits, an experienced guide, porter service, meals, accommodation, private transportation, airport transfers, staff insurance, first aid support, and other essential services, providing a complete trekking experience in the Manaslu region.
