Trip Overview

The Annapurna Circuit Trek is one of the most popular trekking journeys in Nepal. It takes you around the beautiful Annapurna mountain range and offers a great mix of nature, mountain views, local villages, and culture. The trail changes as you gain altitude. You start in green hills and forests and slowly move into dry valleys and high Himalayan landscapes.

The journey begins with a scenic drive from Kathmandu toward the Annapurna region. The trekking route passes through places such as Dharapani, Chame, Pisang, Manang, Yak Kharka, Thorong Phedi, Muktinath, and Jomsom. Each place has its own landscape and local lifestyle.

One of the biggest highlights of the trek is crossing Thorong La Pass at 5,416 meters. The climb can be challenging because of the altitude, but reaching the top is a rewarding experience. From the pass, you can enjoy wide views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

The trek also takes you to Muktinath, an important religious site for both Hindus and Buddhists. You will then continue toward the Mustang region and the Kali Gandaki Valley, where the landscape becomes much drier and more dramatic.

During the trek, you can see beautiful peaks such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Nilgiri, and Tilicho Peak. You will also walk through forests, cross rivers, pass traditional villages, and meet local people. The changing scenery is one of the main reasons people choose the Annapurna Circuit. The trail feels different every few days, making the journey interesting from beginning to end.

Universe Himalayan Treks arranges the important parts of the trip, including transportation, permits, accommodation, meals, guides, porters, and airport transfers. Our goal is to make your journey comfortable and enjoyable while you focus on the mountains and local experiences.
